Psychological wellbeing

All people experience periods of frustration, low mood and worry at times. These are normal emotions that are part of being human and being alive. However, a heightened or prolonged experience of these feelings can impact learning and lead to reduced health and wellbeing. If you have noticed an increase in these emotions in yourself or your child/ren, we encourage you to have an open conversation about this with someone you trust. Talking about your experiences with someone you trust can provide support through difficult times, and can help bring clarity to your thoughts and feelings. Similarly, learning more about how and why you respond in certain ways to different experiences can help you manage difficulties and improve your wellbeing.

This resource library has been established to help support Wahroonga Adventist School students and families with their psychological health and wellbeing.
